Travelling to Skye can be part of the adventure and there are so many routes to choose

From the Skye Bridge

From the Skye Bridge, continue on the A87 and follow this road all the way to Portree.  When you reach Portree look out for a road sign going to Uig where you see this sign turn off to the left. Drive through the village of Portree and when you come to the roundabout go straight over the roundabout.  Continue to drive out of Portree when you will then come to some sharp bends in the road, just after the sharp bends in the road you will see a road sign for Dunvegan where you see this sign turn left.  Continue for 2 miles on the A850 and you will see the first of the road signs on the left side of the road.  After you see this sign you will be taking the next right and this will take you onto the drive way of the hotel.

By Car via Uig from Harris or North Uist 

From the Uig Ferry Terminal take the A87 for 12 miles then turn right onto the A850 towards Dunvegan. Continue for 2 miles on the A850 and you will see the first of the road signs on the left side of the road.  After you see this sign you will be taking the next right and this will take you onto the drive way of the hotel

By Car from Inverness

From Inverness it is a 2 hr 55 min drive from Inverness Airport which has direct flights from

London, Manchester, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast and Amsterdam –   Inverness Airport Destinations.

By Car from Glasgow and Edinburgh via Skye Bridge

It is a 5 hrs 10 mins drive from Glasgow Airport via Loch Lomond National Park, Glencoe Visitor Centre, Fort William Eilean Donan Castle.

It is a 5 hr 5 min drive from Edinburgh Airport via Perth, House of Bruar,  Dalwhinnie Distillery and Eilean Donan Castle.

By Car via Fort William and then ferry from Mallaig to Armadale

Take the “Harry Potter” route and drive to Mallaig via spectacular Glen Finnan, then take the Calmac ferry to Armadale which is a 65 minute drive from Skeabost.
